‘Let’s Make Peace’ to vie at Ahmedabad festival

Iranian animation ‘Let’s Make Peace’ is to compete at the Ahmedabad International Children Film Festival in India

Iranian animation ‘Let’s Make Peace’ is set to compete at the Ahmedabad International Children Film Festival (AICFF) in India.

Media reports said ‘Let’s Make Peace’ by Abdallah Alimerad will be screened at the 4th edition of AICFF.

The film is about two neighbors who are in contact with each other. They sometime become friends and sometimes they fight with each other.

‘Let’s Make Peace’ previously won the best animation award at the Animur International Animated Film Festival in Russia.

Earlier reports said Iranian animation ‘Loupetoo’ by Abbas Askari will also take part in the 4th edition of AICFF.

The animation is about a hospital where Dr. Saeed Kamali treats his mental patients through letting them make toys.

“A person disguised as a patient vandalizes the workshop and causes its closure. The doctor’s son, Ali, tries to help his father to solve the problem,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The 4th edition of the Ahmedabad International Children Film Festival will take place on December 24-29.
